Today in summer camp we started off with getting to know you games and ice breakers.
We played a theater game called all hands on deck. This game introduced our theme for the next two weeks which is pirates. After being introduced to these theater games we did some script work learning music and reading pirates past noon.
Then we learned about terms of theater. Our focus today was stage directions; upstage, downstage right and left stage. We played a game to put these new terms into action.
Last we made pirate name tags and departed for the day.
