AH! After weeks of preparation, theatre camp has started! Day 1 of Teddy Pear Picnic Camp=SUCCESS! We had SO much fun today! I could tell some campers were a bit nervous, but most of them were ready for fun! The preschoolers did so well! For the first day, Mrs. Susan played us some fun songs on her guitar, and Mr. Alex taught us the Teddy Bear dance for our performance on Friday. And everyone did so WELL! The kids will be pros by the end of the week! After our snack time, we went on the trail to find a hiding bear. We found and discovered a picture of a GIZZLY BEAR! Mr. Bobby even told us some cool facts about them…Did you know that Grizzly bears live to be 20 to 25 years old? (That’s pretty old for a bear!) I already can’t wait for tomorrow because the kids will find THEIR teddy bear and name it! Throughout the week we will also be learning about other types of bears…so stay posted! P.S- Did anyone watch the 66th Annual Tony Awards last night? I sure did. There were so many amazing performances! I think my favorite was the opening performance, What If Life Were More Like Theater. Check it out! -Jenna
